I dont know where to go.

IM in 10th grade right now and wandering where I should go for a summer program.

Im thinking of Boston University. Anyone been there?

if you do music then tanglewood would be good, it's at BU

if you're a whiz at math/science look into RSI which is held at MIT (close enough to Boston??)

What are your strengths/weaknesses? Be sure to pursue summer college oppurtunities that meld with you actual life interests. BTW, Cornell has an EXCELLENT summer college. You are hereby guaranteed a great time. Good Luck!

^ true. who are you/ what are your credentials? many universities have summer college programs for you to take classes and meet awesome people at a prestigious university but they are ridiculously expensive sometimes. RSI as a rising junior unless you are absolutely amazing is a reach to say the least. i've had the opportunity to go to ~6 summer programs in my last two years that are science-related and are mostly or not all free. pm me your interests and stuff.

<a href="http://www.summerscience.org/home/index.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.summerscience.org/home/index.php</a></p>

Depends on what you want to do at the summer program. When I was in 10th grade, I basically wanted to go to a summer program to look good for college, but really, I'm pretty sure those college summer programs make you look worse, relative to doing research or pretty much anything else at home because most of them aren't that competitive/intensive, and they cost a lot, so you look like a rich, priveleged kid. Usually, the best programs are the free ones. RSI is a great program, and you should definitely apply if you are a math and science kid. The people on this board may intimidate you about RSI--but trust me, you don't need to be a genius or anything to get in. I got in and I'm definitely not one :-P

I dont like math that much and I dont like astronomy, I like biology and earth science.
Ill check out cornell.
Are you sure they hurt your chances, because im an exact opposite of a rich kid.

I want to go to one in California also, can anyone help me?

Why are you so obsessed in California?

Are you still wanting to go to boarding school?

I did the HSH program at BU--it was awesome. Met people from around the world, great classes and prof's, and living in the city was fun.
