So I wrote my common app essay, and at first I reallly didn't like it. I didn't think that it showed my writing ability or creativity (its a bit cliche), even though it is about a good lesson that I learned. My guidance and college counselors say that it will be great for college and that its terrific and that I shouldn't re write or change it. Can anyone take a look at it for me and give me some input on whether I should make changes or leave it the way it is? Thanks in advance.
