Why would you even think of MIT? Though Stern is good, it's still massachusetts institute of Technology; science and engineering is in its name.

well would you go to an art school if you didnt like art?
you still have to take all the math and science requirements that are required for any mit undergrad.

cortigiana dont you mean SLOAN?

lol, well I think the implication is that the post is referring to Sloan. If so, yes you should apply and yes there is hope, Sloan is a pretty good business school ;)

You'll still have to deal with tons of math and science and engineering is a sport there...

It's still one of the top three undergraduate business schools in the country.

People do just come here for Sloan, and it's a great business school, and they're happy. However, it's worth noting that, even if you want to be a business major, you'll have to take 2 semesters of physics, 2 semesters of calculus, 1 semester of chem, 1 semester of bio, 8 humanities classes, 2 restricted electives in science and technology, and 1 approved lab.

So Sloan is a good place for people who are excited about business and who can tolerate the science and math they need to get to the major at MIT. For people who can't stand science... maybe not so much.

From what I make of it, Sloan business is pretty much a science in itself. Very quantitiative. It houses, after all, the Game Theorists of Nobel renown.

Thanks for all the info guys!

Guess I wont be on the applicant pool =(

oh yea, oops.

my friend here's been talking about NYU for ever and ever, it got to my head i suppose -__-". Forgive me!
