I don't think I meet the general requirements?

So I'm looking at UBC and this was listed as one of their requirements...what does the second half mean? that they want 4 years of, say, science, math, and social studies? with the way my hs works, I'll only have two or three years of each of my subjects besides math and english by the end of my senior year. what can i do?

"Four years of English (not ESL) to the senior level and A minimum of three other full-year senior-level academic subjects"

That’s how my school has it too, it’s not required to graduate to have 4 years of each but just because it’s not a requirement doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take them. For my senior year next year I’m taking all 4 core classes when it’s not required (most people are just taking english and math ha) but most people don’t get into good schools so just take them your senior year instead of lots of electives

Pick up the phone and call the school

At my school, pretty much no useful classes are open to freshmen. We weren’t even allowed to take a full year of social studies… so because of this, by the time i graduate I’ll have
4 years of math
4 years of english
3 years of science
3 years of social studies
and there’s not any way I can get more science or social studies unless I decided to 2 years at a CC, but theres no way I’m going to do that.
Do you think UBC would understand considering my school forced us to take stupid classes like keyboarding all freshman year?

What was difficult about GMT’s advice?
