i dont think i stand a chance

Well, if you don’t mind spending ~$70 in the MIT App and you really, really want to get in you should apply anyway, but you have to be prepared for great dissapointment. That way it doesn’t hurt as much if you don’t get in and it makes it so much better if you do.

Not me. I edited to remove info that was not appropriate.

Generally speaking, the mods here edit to remove, not to add.

I wasn’t sure because it didn’t sound like the type of response I would get from him. I didn’t read what he had said beforehand.

alright, no more fighting, im sorry

To OP:

You have to realize that people could be ■■■■■■■■ on these threads (including the decision ones), so don’t take everything too seriously. You also have to realize that CC doesn’t exactly represent the regular applicant pool…

As for people jumping to conclusions as to whether or not the OP has a chance or not, it’s very possible that the OP is hiding stuff, like having an international medal or two, published a few research papers, taken 15 AP’s… you never know. It’s quite rude to simply jump to conclusions whether it’s an online forum or not. The OP could always retake SAT’s anyways.
