I don't think i'll get in anywhere

I'm everything but a typical Indian. My gpa is very low, my ec's are extremely poor, but I have great test scores and a rapidly rising GPA. I plan on getting these grades my senior year also:

*Freshman Year- 2.46 GPA | No EC's | No advanced classes
*Sophomore Year- 3.54 GPA | No EC's | No advanced classes
*Junior Year- 3.75 GPA | JV Tennis | Honors Alg II
*Senior Year- 4.66 GPA | V Tennis | Precalc, AP Lit, AP Chem, AP Bio
*Cumulative- 3.4 by the end of this year.
*Class Rank- Top 30-35% by the end of this year.
*Sat I- 2250
*ACT- 29
*Will have good recs
*Will have good essays

I plan on majoring in chemical engineering. I've narrowed it down to some of these schools in order of preference:
*Purdue university
*University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
*University of Missouri at Rolla
*Ohio State University
*Pennsylvania State University
*Rolla Technical Institute
If there are other colleges with my major, can you guys please list them? Thanks in advance :)

If you live in PA you have a great shot at PSU. I believe Ohio State chances would be similar if I recall correctly (could be wrong)

I beg to differ :)

how do you know you'll have good recs and essays. i just don't understand this.l

Virginia Tech might be within your range...

If you live in Virginia, Virginia Tech is a breeze to get into. People at my school interested in engineering always use that school as a safety and always get in.

i dont know about rolla technical institute or university of missouri, but all the others you have a very good shot at. your chances at virginia tech would also be good.

Look at Rose-Hulman in Indiana. I think you'll get into most of those schools.
