I have applied to the University of Minnesota, UW-Madison, Loyola Chicago, and Alabama, and I don’t know how to view my decision. Many people are being accepted to Minnesota already and I would hope to be soon seeing as I applied in October but on my portal under “status of admission as of [today’s date]” it just has a little blurb about rolling admissions. All of my materials are received so I know that’s not holding anything back. As for Alabama the thing says “status of admission:” “decision made.” Like they can update the thing to tell me there’s a decision but not what it is? I mean I’m expecting to get in I just would really enjoy the self esteem boost of actually being admitted to at least one college. As for Madison I’m not really expecting a decision yet because I think they take longer and I have no idea about how long Loyola takes to send out their first decisions. I guess I thought portals were to tell you if your app is pending, accepted, or rejected, so I’m pretty confused at what I’m reading and would appreciate if anyone could clarify this situation for me. Thanks.
