I don't know why, but these past few days I've loathed all Ivies. I don't know why... perhaps it's the music I'm listening to with subliminal messages? But, I've felt like, "wow, I like these state schools."

I go back and forth on some of my schools. I'd be content at all but maybe one, but my actual level of interest increases and decreases by the day. I like most of my schools about the same amount, though.

Don't worry about it. Wait until April, see where you get in, and then evaluate your interest. Stuff like this changes a lot. It's nothing to stress about or think about. :)

For me it wasn't until after I got in that I started thinking... "Yale's a really nice school, too" or "You know, it'd be a little cheaper if I went to Rice..."

But even still, I'm sure H is where I want to be. :)

I work(ed) at a bank, and I had this lady once who made me change her deposite because it added up to $666. She gave me a five or something. I tried hard not to laugh.

I know this board isn't my place (lol) but I just wanted to echo candlize's sentiment... after I got in early I started thinking about a few other schools, I think I went through a slump... like all the energy it took to apply, and then all of a sudden I got in. In the end I knew I was just psyching myself out, because obviously, Harvard sucks and Princeton doesn't matter. :D
JK, thats obviously untrue.

I think I know what it is... the fact that it is 60-70 degrees here in January and that I am wearing shorts. It's hard to do that on a Boston January day.

And heck, it's warm in Boston. It just has been for the past few weeks. Maybe they finally installed that weather controlling dome I keep wanting them to build.

there are seasons in Ohio too. so i wouldn't mind not having seasons. But most of the schools i applied to are on the east coast, so i will prolly be having 4 seasons next year.

It doesn't get all that humid, usually. There are generally two or three weeks that are hot and humid, but it's not that bad. The beach? Cape Cod is only an hour and a half away, and there are beaches all along the coast (obviously).
