^ Grade inflation. What do you give those students who got gourmet pizza from a fancy Italian restaurant?

This happened to me once last year. It was semester grade time and I had a B for that class and I wanted to raise it for my transcript, so I brought my HIGHLY germaphobic teacher a big bottle of hand sanitizer and a bunch of tissues. So my grade went up to from a B to an A-. She counted it as extra credit.

@NoliMeTangere Gourmet pizza? Hmm, no hw for the semester and an A++. Idk.

I’m confused. I did read her post and I agreed with a lot of it, but it didn’t really change my opinion. HS isn’t bad if you don’t get involved with the drama queens, stop caring about “popularity” and just act social.

But of course, results will vary. Some people intensely dislike high school and I can understand that.

…Lol, I don’t mind school but Seachai whines about it all the time on AIM, so I blocked him.

He reminds me of HopefulEagle.

Its what my cousin at Stanford tells me. I really hope he’s right. I can’t WAIT to leave high school. I’m sick of the grade inflation and seeing the same superficial, rude “wannabe popular” kids all the time. In fact I hate my school so much that I’m currently devising a plan to **** everyone off right before I graduate…lol

@fairy_dream: you can tell who people are just by the way they write? I always wanted to be able to do that…

Oh, everyone in high school is sort of a “wannabe popular” kid. It’s like, most people are afraid others don’t think they’re “cool” enough. Sometimes, if you remove yourself from the dramas and just look at everything from a detached, third person point of view, it’s so obvious that it’s sort of sad/funny/pathetic at the same time.

It’s really rude to spoil personal things in the public, including on a forum like CC, but I don’t recall that as a reason as to why it happened, Matt.

You were just mad because I cussed you and natim1 out that night.

^Yeah, whatever the reason may be, just forgive Matt. He hates me because I’ll be off to Duke. As a UNC student, Matt deliberately tries to put Duke down, deluding himself to believe that UNC is actually better than Duke (HA!).

Its similar to the inferiority complex Berkeley students have against Stanford students…except Matt is always on the extreme of things.

Like I said, he’s a joke. Just ignore him.

^You guys are so nice to each other.

^^Except I’m a sophomore in high school and I live 5 minutes away from UNC? LOL. I only say I’m a sophomore in high school almost every day that I’m on this site. Are you and AshwinSundar’s nuts in a tangle?
^^^And I’m sure I blocked you because all you talk about is how you hate your life and school and how you ruined your life with your horrible grades. I got tired of you so the block button was there for me.
And Calico, that’s because Seachai is hopefuleagle. -.-

HopefulEagle, you resurrected!

:D

Anyway, that’s probably not true. He’s not the awesome HopefulEagle; he’s some boring person named… John:p. (i’m kidding by the way.)

That’s because I was talking about Seachai not John, who actually IS HopefulEagle.

I can tell you that I am 100% not John117.

Kid, you’re talking so much ***** behind a computer screen. Lucky that I can’t track you down all the way from New York City to North Carolina or else I wouldn’t have suddenly rashed on HSL in the first place. I hope you get banned for discussing others.

Hi Seachai-who’s-not-John! (We’ve met through PMs.)

^^Oh god, threats. You’ve already told me you’re a guy who’s 5’3 120 Pounds, so whether you “track” me down or not, you’re just threatening me for no apparent reason at all, but to defend yourself because you were an annoyance for like a month straight, over the internet. I didn’t know that was so possible. Please go ahead and attempt to track me down. Rofl.

^ Rofl @ your poor grammars. I don’t care about anyone’s size as long as stregnths are comparable. Just because you’re tall doesn’t necessarily mean you’re strong.

Does anyone else here know that you’re the real Matt besides me?

^Rofl that you’re monitoring my grammatical errors, when I could easily tell everyone your life story which is hilariously sad. What are your strengths might I ask? You never told me those…
