One of my application questions is “If you could only go to two websites or social media sites, which would you choose?”

What do they expect me to say? I don’t want to say, for example, Facebook and instagram, and have them think I’m a self-obsessed twit, but then again, if I say Goodreads and twitter, will they think I’m lying or a nerd? (Not meant to be offensive) Goodreads and twitter are probably the sites I use most anyway, but I’m afraid they’ll get a negative impression. I’m a normal person, I just don’t have an instagram or anything.

Any suggestions?

Maybe do a mix of both to show that you’re smart but an “actual person.”

I agree with mathman1201

boarding schools want smart kids but at the same time, not nerdy kids who do nothing but stuudy. Use something like goodreads and Fb and just say that you like to spend some (limited) time on FB after a hard day of tests or something. Good luck!
