<p>i’m a transfer student and applied for this coming fall 2011. i earned a D in my fall semester for bio. so do i notify admissions to tell them keep that class on my transcript for Fall "10 and put that i’m taking it again for spring "11? or have them remove the class from fall "10 and just put it in for spring "11? how do i do this?</p>
<p>or should i even retake it again since a “D” pretty much screwed my chances.</p>

<p>Unless you put a projected grade on your app that you did not end up getting, I don’t think you have to notify them. I put “in-progress” for my whole senior year and then they see your final grades when you send transcripts in the spring. And yes, you should definitely take the class again. Having a D isn’t all that bad if you make it up, but you have to make sure you do.</p>
