I feel disgusted by feeling "superior"...anyone else like this?

^This is getting old leksas

I think the OP is bitter because he didn;t have any friends in high school so going to duke is somehow going to make up for it ?

Sorry Guys.
The next person will be you

^Reading that I was going to laugh, but for a moment you actually seemed kind of serious.

^^Fix your location or ■■■■.

Like this?

^^ lmao matt. i was thinking the same thing

“I’m going to a school with an 80% acceptance rate”

IU’s acceptance rate has actually dropped to about 70%. :D

^I was thinking that too Leila, haha. No, Leksas, you can keep the college/university + the grad year, just don’t go WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and spread it across the page like a complete nuisance to the community. Mk. :D

is this the dude that read twilight?

It was the guy who wrote an essay about twilight in another thread, so yes that’s him I guess? LOL. I already mentioned that in my first post in this thread.

^yeah.
Tsen

Oh cool, now I’m 10% more superior.

Yeah, to elaborate:

People thought I was a creepy person because all I do is study and work…I don’t show up to school related events and I have absolutely 0 school spirit. haha. And I was new to the school district when I came freshman year, so ppl didn’t really know me.
They had their “friend niche” already set up.

I was actually pretty disappointed with my school at a point because it failed to meet state standards (its the worst school in the bay area), and all my friends went to better schools.

Hence…idk, I felt I couldn’t fit in with people because we had different priorities I guess. But that didn’t stop all the gossipping that “John 117 is a kid who jacks off to Math equations!”
Apparently being a nerd meant I was incapable of liking girls or w/e.

And now in the long run, I feel accomplished. A lot of these people who talked smack about me are going to community colleges and UC Riverside and all that. They’re really unhappy.

I can’t help but go “HA in you’re face!” but I feel terrible…

^ No, it’s understandable. I didn’t even get in anywhere spectacular but I’m proud of the fact that I’m going to a 4 year school while all the ***s and **es at my school are going to community college with the expectation (not even hope… EXPECTATION) that they’ll be at UCLA within the next 2 years.

I’d like to see them maintain their sub-2.0 GPA’s in community college and see how well that’ll help them when it comes to getting into UCLA.

^^ I get the same comments about physics and math because I let kids go through my Kindle in Pre-Calc, meanwhile about five of my books are calc books.

^^^That sounds like me except I’m not a nerd and I go to a good school, but it seems like you could rub it in their face

Hey hey hey! ;]

There’s nothing wrong in reading Twilight ;] I just wanted to see what was so great about that book!
I admit it was pretty disappointing though, but amusing =P

If these kids are just downright jerks, you should feel good about yourself.

“Hey hey hey ;]”

whattheF?
