<p>Okay... sorry if this gets posted twice, my internet crashed on me >:O</p>

<p>But yeah, chance me!
I'm a peruvian female, daughter of immigrants, who goes to a private girls prep school in New England.</p>

<p>SAT I: 2360 (760 reading, 800 math, 800 writing)
SAT II: 790 math IIc, 770 chem, 720 english lit, 720 us history
AP's: 5's on Chemistry, US History, Calc AB, English Lang, 4's on French Lang and Euro. This year I'm taking Physics C (Mech.), English Lit, Calc BC, Comparative Govt & Politics, and Spanish Lang.
Other classes: I've also taken 4yrs of Religious Studies and 2yrs of Arts classes.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.745 unweighted, 4.38 weighted on 4.0 scale
(My school doesn't rank.)</p>

<p>EC's:
Varsity Soccer - 4yr starter, team MVP (junior yr), league All-Star 3yrs, team captain
Varsity Lacrosse - 4yr player, 3yr starter, team captain, league honorable mention
Varsity Basketball - 2yr player
Inter Bandits Soccer Club (premier team)
100+ hrs community service at various sites (e.g. GB Food Bank, Pine Street Inn, etc)
Science Bowl Team - 4yr "player" hehe, 2yr captain

summer intern at the Schepens Eye Research Institute (affiliate of Harvard Medical School) – data processing, computer programming, etc, 45 hrs/wk
Hostess at Ground Round Bar & Grill, 10 hrs/wk sophomore yr
Soccer Referee for WUSC, 5 hrs/wk since 8th grade</p>

<p>Awards:
High Honors every semester of high school (semester average of A- or higher, no grade below B+)
National Honor Society (inducted February of junior yr)
Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award (University of Rochester)
AP Scholar With Distinction (score of 4 or 5 on at least 5 AP exams)

<p>My top schools right now are Duke, Stanford, and Columbia, but I'm also looking at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, WashU, Northwestern, UPenn, and Cornell. My 2 older sisters went to Duke and Princeton, if that helps?</p>

<p>I feel lame for doing this, but I'm starting to freak myself out about college apps. I know it's a lot to read, so thanks a lot!</p>

<p>Your stats are overall very good and it seems to me that you should apply to most if not all of those schools. It seems to me your academics and APs are very strong, though your GPA could be slightly higher, but your EC, volunteer, and work experiences are all great.</p>

<p>You have extremely high chances at Northwestern and Cornell and very good chances at the other schools. I'm not sure how many students most private schools send on to top colleges, but assuming that your school is moderately competitive, you seem to be a fit for all of the schools you mentioned.</p>

<p>I think you have a high chance of getting into Northwestern and almost definitely for Wash U. Try to find one thing that you are especially passionate about and carry that idea throughout your applications</p>

<p>I would think you could get in to at least one of harvard, yale, or princeton. Your SAT, soccer, lacrosse stuff is incredible. I like your eye research internship (did you do any actual eye research there)?</p>

<p>You're an URM with an amazing SAT score, a strong GPA, and really good ECs and honors/awards. You're going to get into some of those top schools.</p>

<p>most of what i did was data analysis stuff, so a lot of computers etc, but yes. it was a great experience.</p>
