<p>my application to mcgill was completely finished by dec. 6th, but since then my status hasnt changed from "ready for review", even though apparently its supposed to change to further review required after jan. 15th. what the heck is going on with my app???????</p>
<p>btw my mid-year grades have been sent to mcgill and im still at ready for review</p>
<p>mcgill send out 2 rounds of acceptances. This was the early round for people with stellar grades. Doesn't mean you won't get accepted. You'll probably get it around April, I think.</p>
<p>my grades are stellar. better than a lot who have been accepted. plus, if i wasnt in this round of acceptances, why would i still be at ready for review?</p>
<p>3.92 unweighted, 9 AP's, 31 ACT, all 5's and 4's on my AP exams. is that not stellar enough? lol</p>
<p>Aryamehr, I 'm in a similar predicament. Mine is also "ready for review" My app was complete in November, and I faxed my grades in yesterday. I have 33 ACT, 2290 SAT, 7 AP's, (4 this year), and 3.78 UW at a tough boarding school. I have no clue why I haven't gotten accepted yet, or why my status is still ready for review. Maybe it depends on which faculty you applied to? I did management.</p>
<p>yeah ive noticed through your posts that you have a similar predictament, which, not gonna lie, keeps me from going nuts :) but yeah, im not sure whats going on. i've applied to the faculty of science, so i dont think faculties have anything to do with it. im really curious and i really want to know whats going on.</p>
<p>I dont have stellar grades.
I mean junior/senior grades are stellar 4 me (3.75uw, around a 4.35w) at one of the top publics in california(btw if I had that gpa for all high school i would be in top 20% of my class 4 sure. and we send tons of grads to top schools)</p>
<p>But my sophomore and freshman years i sucked (3.2 about uw/w)</p>
<p>And i got in on day 1 of offial appliction reviewing by mcgill</p>

<p>I'm in the same situation...I applied mid-December, and my status remains "Ready for Review" for my Science app, but changed to "Further Review Required" for my Agricultural Sciences app...kinda weird, I thought they processed apps together? I thought I had pretty stellar grades too, but maybe not good enough. The website says we'll hear before March 31st, but I hope we don't have to wait that long.</p>
<p>Yea, this definitely doesn't have to do with your grades. I've heard from several sources like parents of kids who go to McGill that they are like notorious for handing out late acceptances. Some get in late January and others may get in in late April. Mine is still ready for review and I got everything in by mid-November. I've helped to pass the time by not looking at Minerva more than 2 times a month haha.</p>

<p>Everyone at my school has heard and all but one got in with a range of grades/ scores.</p>
<p>I called McGill today, and if it says "ready for review," it means that they just haven't gotten to your application yet. "Further review required" means that they need more info to make a decision, (I'm assuming grades), but she told me that in my case, admissions hasn't seen my application at all yet.</p>

<p>I'm American and still "Ready for Review", too; I sent my application in the beginning of December :( I don't think they've received my mid-terms yet coz my counselor has been a bit slow so I'm hoping that once those get in I'll be accepted..</p>
<p>eek, don't feel bad, i finished my applications in October and McGill still hasn't even seen my transcripts. I emailed them the other day and they told me they won't be downloading my grades from the OUAC until sometime in March.</p>
