<p>Yes I too am in a horrible situation. I applied to 2 safeties, 2 matches and one reach. I was rejected from one of my match schools! I've given up on my reach school (even though I won't hear back until April) and already sent in housing for my 2nd choice. </p>
<p>I would say its better to have your confidence be lower so that you will be happier when you get accepted or be less sad when rejected. I was too confident about my match schools, and when I was rejected from one of them it was like a slap on the face bringing me back to reality.</p>
<p>Trust me, its better to be insecure than overly confident.</p>

I've already been rejected by one of my reaches and am waiting for decisions from 4r, 6m. No safeties at all. UGH! And I'm an international seeking aid.</p>
