I feel like throwing up

Hi, what are my chances people, I just want your opinion.

When writing my app. essay, do you think I should

1) write about a suicide call I got once while working at the helpline-
(it was different than the other suicide calls because I thought the suicide would be reasonable for the first time ever. The caller was in so much pain. But I just listened to him for 3 hours and again the next day and a month later he called back saying he was ina support group and "feeling at peace". HE thanked me for listening, it made an impact on his life, and in turn he made an impact on mine)

2) All the community college classes I've taken outside of school, and how it has made my view on education different

3) The leadership positions I have and how they have made me milder. Its like I've grown tolerance as I get more responsiblity. (Band President, Acadec Captain, Model UN V.P., Praise Band Leader)

4) How I've wanted to be a lawyer since the 4th grade, and how all my choices in my life revolved around that

5) experiences from band and acadec. (photo shoot, boston, Europe, lunch with the principal...etc?)

6) Awards I've won?

7) finding a random lake by my house after 10 years. It was weird

ACTUALLY, should I write about band at all? Its kind of boring, but a huge part of my life. I DONT KNOW, please answer with critical judgment and honesty! THINKING ABOUT THIS MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE

lol are you korean? it seems like almost 50% of Koreans have last names as Kim. my last name is Kim too -_-;;

if i were you, id write about #3. im heavily involved with the praise team at my church and it seems to be the easiest topic for me to write about

I believe that the first essay choice would be best, if you could make it show what you've gained from that experiance, and how it changes your perspective on life.

Write about #3 because it is something you are passionate about.
Writing about #1 will be unconvincing. Because of confidentiality, you can't give out too many details. Admission people may not believe you, any body can make up stories and write a great essay!

You have some good topics. #5 sounds too general and random and predictable, unless you can think of an underlying thread to tie it all together. #6, no, won't make a good essay. All of the others have potential. The purpose of the essay is to get the schools interested in YOU as a unique individual. Keep that in mind when choosing. For example, if #7 is only interesting from a geological point of view, don't use it. The essay needs to highlight you, not some other person, place, or thing. (But in a subtle way, not in a me-me-me way).

I like the 1st one because it's more unique.

I am Korean! I'm glad you noticed. Praise band has definetely been a interesting ride, and since I am a short korean girl who has to gets up on stage without any guitar skills or vocal talent I definetely have grown gumption. People laughing at me only makes me laugh along. How is your praise band? do you have any tips? any favorite sonngs?

does number 1 really seem unrealistic? that makes me sad since it was life changing to me
