<p>For whoever asked what a troll was, a troll is someone who just makes ridiculous stuff up. One thread had poeple talking about how they didn't like the "hookup culture" of college and people were debating about how they felt on casual hookups, and this one guy went on and on for the whole thread about how anyone who did anything before marraige was trashy, lacked morals, etc. Another kid said he/she wanted to make a 2-foot thick living pod thing around his/her dorm bed. Someone else said they were going to go hike Mt. Everest over break and should he/she get life insurance...stuff like that that just involves someone overexaggerating or just plain making stuff up, to get attention or for the humor of it.</p>

<p>PS- I'm not accusing the OP of being a troll in any way, just someone asked what a troll was and I'm defining it for him/her.</p>

<p>I hate people like you who feel the need to know how everyone else is doing all the time. If I found out one of my friends did that to me I'd probably do his sister.</p>

<p>dramakitty provided a great explanation of what a troll is, and I just wanted to follow up by pointing out that as time carries on, I believe it is realistic to expect an increase in the number of trolls on this board.
