I feel sorry for our posters

It had been a long time since I have been posting on a board like this asking about my own status, but now I am over on SDN's message board asking about what score I need on the GRE for graduate school. It is amazing how many different answers you can get to one answer! I hope that we are fairly clear and usually agree with each other (though I disagree with people quite often, lol) because I am once again realizing how annoying it can be to really want to know the answer to a question and to keep hearing different things from different people!

BTW, anyone know how to greatly increase your vocabulary for a test similar to the SAT in two weeks? I have the time, I just need the methods!

P.S. I will try to use my observations on the other board to help you guys better; it just had been a long time since I was in your shoes and I think I forgot a bit what it is like. Hopefully I will be more helpful because of all of this but I definately feel your pain.

There's a book that's called Word Power. It's an easy read with some exerciese.

Also, have you heard of any transfer decisions? If so, can you post them under your transfer topic. My one friend heard on Friday, June 9 and was accepted. I will post the stats when i get them.

I haven't heard from anyone else. If you are a transfer and have talked to me and know your decision, please email me! I will post them if I hear them but they may be slightly delayed as I am going on an eight day silent retreat tomorrow (I know, I am nuts). I will have internet access, just limited, but I will check my email daily...so email me if you hear!

Definitely use Word Power. Be sure to memorize the Latin and Greek roots at the back of the book.
