I filled out the TAG, but I think one UC has the wrong major -_-

I chose my majors, classes, info, hit submit, and there on the review page...

COMPUTER SCIENCE..

Not computer engineering. ***?! Oh boy. Here goes calling them :\ XD FML.

omg ew. GOODLUCK

“To update academic information on your TAG application during the open filing period you must withdraw the TAG from all UC campuses, update your information, and then resubmit. Once the filing period is closed, you may not update your academic information.”
idk if thats helpful or not?

They won’t change it man. Applying for TAG basically guarantee’s you admission into the school (either your primary or secondary major). If you’re GPA is sharp, apply as a computer science major and apply as a computer engineering major for your secondary… at least you’ll be guaranteed admission.

If you’re GPA needs adjusting, I would call em…

Hehe, just wanted to let you guys know the most important thing:

Before seeing a counselor (if necessary), and while you’re still in the sept 1-30 filing period, if you want to change your major you CAN. You just withdraw all the TAGs and resubmit with the proper information.

Obviously, when a counselor approves you and/or your TAGs are approved, you can no longer do that… so make sure you don’t have any mistakes on your ‘review’ page, and if you do CHANGE THEM NOW! lol.

:D

I withdrew/resubmitted about 5 mins after asking the question here, it took all of about 30 seconds to fix it/resubmit (and there was no delay in the withdraw action, don’t worry).

So I’m all set for UCD, UCI, UCSC, and UCSB :D
