I know that there's probably no point in sending them now since the decisions are all coming out this week..
But I'm kind of freaking out right now because I worked really hard on those essays and I don't want to get rejected because of one minor thing.

Should I try calling them? Or is there no point now?
Do you think they will just reject me automatically....

Generally speaking, if you’re a US student, you don’t send in your mid-year reports, your GC does. And if they were truly missing, odds are the college would have contacted you and asked where they were. At this point, either relax or realize there’s nothing that can be done - but you could always go contact your GC and ask if they were sent.

USC does not actually require a mid-year report, NYU does. Thus, at NYU it could be a grounds for denial. However, as mentioned above you should first check with your high school counselor to find out if one was sent because usually with NYU if anything is missing come early March, it sends a notice to the applicant that something required is missing and needs to be submitted promptly, and it sounds like you did not get such a notice.

My counselor said she sent in my first trimester senior grades with my entire transcript, but not separately as a mid-year report. Should that be okay?

@disari21 because in february I got an email from Boston University saying they needed my senior year grades and was later rejected. I’m not sure if BU made a mistake, or if they wanted my trimester 1 AND 2 grades… But I don’t want to get rejected because of this from USC and NYU since they’re my top choice schools

So when BU sent you an email saying that they needed your senior year grades, did you do anything in response? Please don’t tell us that you did nothing.

@MiddKid86 I emailed my counselor and asked her to send it in. She said she already did sooo I assumed everything would be okay :\ really really hoping NYU and USC would have emailed me if I was missing something
