hey guys,
well the deadline to mail in your parent’s taxes is today for penn, but i can’t get a hold of them tomorrow. i can’t even call the financial aid office because they’re closed today. will turning the taxes in late affect my financial aid or admissions decision?
thanks!

Probably, but it's either turn it in late or not at all.

If you send them off tomorrow (or, better yet, fax them today) and give the office a call to let them know, I'm sure they can do something for you.

If you can't fax the form today or tomorrow, go to the post office tomorrow and mail the form overnight. Then call the financial aid office, explain what happened, and assure them it will be there on Tuesday.

They can't go through everyones forms in one day, so you will probably be okay.

I don't think they would be so rigid as not to accept them a day late. After all, they have a lot of mail sitting there that they haven't had time to go through yet. Definitely fax it or overnight it, and call them on the phone tomorrow.
