Since the OP said he thought it was extremely easy, I'm assuming there were no MC questions which he "had no idea" or thought was "challenging." Regardless of this, I still think that the leaving nothing blank was his downfall, there must have been at least a few on which s/he was mistaken.

thought i gota 5 in psych....super easy....ended up getting a 4, which im still happy with :)

dazzle - same here... although I called one of the psychologists in my essays a man although she was a woman.. oops :]

I find your scores quite funny.

i thot i aced euro and bio (well maybe not so much on bio since i bs' two frq's)

and ended up getting a 4.

so here's my theory.

Collegeboard draws a raffle ticket for everyone's scores, compares that with your

previous scores, and matches it so its not too obvious.

i think this is a valid hypothesis, no?

Haha, quite valid in some cases. My scores were like my earliest ones so...

My sophomore son came out of the world history exam convinced he'd blown it. He thought he'd be lucky to get a 2. He was completely unprepared for the DBQ topic and basically invented his essay. So what did he get? Yep, a 5!

If you'd like to get the grade you expect, it's quite simple what you must do. Don't study, suck on the test, and get a one! There, you are now a psychic. Good job!

In all seriousness, I always say I'm going to get a three in all the tests so I won't get dissapointed. This time around, I thought I'd get 1's and 2's, and actually got very surprising (positive) results. :)

I think my theory is quite valid actually...

this one girl i know had a D the whole year

in human geo but got a 4

6 kids at my school took APUSH

kid 1- slept through entire DBQ and FR due to staying up all night to study: 1
kid 2- did NOTHING entire year, didn't study: 3
kid 3- did next to nothing entire year, didn't study: 3
kid 4- studied adequately, more worried about other exams: 3
kid 5- history student of the year: 5
me- studied like crazy, aced the class, took tons of pract tests where I recieved 4s and 5s, thought I did well: 2!!!

never been more mad/disappointed in my life.

i told u!

my theory is valid!

For AP i set my expectation low so I always get 1 grade higher than what I expect except for APUSH thought I would get a 4 and I got a 4 however I thought I would fail AP Euro (seeing as I didn't take the class) and AP Calc (seeing as I had a sucky teacher) and both I ended up with a 3.
