<p>ok so i submited my app on Nov 17, 2008 and i had my payment sent and i had my grades in that day also.</p>

<p>So i hear a friend of mine she got accepted and she applied 2 days beofre the deadline !!!!! and she found out like 6-8 days later !!!! </p>

<p>i am getting really stressed OUT, i check my status page every day and i just keep pakicing and i am loosing my mind, i am having nightmares, i am not joiking i am waking up in the middle of the night to find my self seatting and kinda scared and i just cant sleep kinda soem times and...</p>

<p>Why does it take so long, i mean when i went to vist i heard they review your App as soon as all the pecies of the App are in, and well why is IT TAKING SO LONG !!!</p>

<p>That is ridiculous. There are a whole slew of people at my high school that have a variety of grades…high, low and in the middle, that haven’t heard.</p>

<p>Yea, I applied Nov 15th and I haven’t heard anything yet either. I am pretty nervous, hopefully we find out soon.</p>

<p>I applied online but self-reported my grades. Is it possible that the people who have heard quickly also self-reported? I did hear back in less than two weeks.</p>

GPA: 3.289
Class Rank: 54/16x (I am top half, 30th percentile) (x= not going to tell exact # of ppl in my HS)
SAT: 480, 450= 930
(i do so well in school tests but not on SATS ? idk why) </p>

<p>Tons of Extra Cric,
I have had 3 jobs, 1 on frshmen yr one in sophmore year, 1 in jr. year and i still have one and i work like 20-25 hrs/week (after i quit my job in jr year i got a differ one and stayed with that one up til this day. </p>

<p>Also, in my freshmen yr my grades were aver (c-b- range),
in my sophmore yr i picked up some slack and (b-a- range),
Jr. year i doubled up in math and took honors chem, and
senior year i took Ap Bio and Eng Course 9it harder than normal eng but lower than AP, its like Honors) </p>

<p>Also i did the EOF thing (not sure if it effects my chances, i am the first in my family to go to Collge) </p>

<p>Chance ME !!! ( I am Still going paraniod, idk how i can cope with this…ppl that can cope with the wait , i really commend you)</p>

<p>What still ****es me off is how ppl tell yopu they have thousands of ppl, but they look at a person who applied 2 day before the deadline anf got told in 8 DAYS, and some one who applies 3 weeks ago still hasnt heard…(sorry for my rant, it just my way of venting)</p>

<p>Yeah, sometimes it takes time. I remember when I applied in October and didn’t get a decision until the first week of January. Oh, and if people don’t get responses by around the 23rd, most likely you’ll have to wait until January to hear back from them.</p>

<p>Like I said before, calm down, get on with your life, and wait. Rutgers gets a ton of applicants, so I don’t think it really matters whether you have high stats or not.</p>

<p>Sorry to hear that you are so stressed out about it. I checked my email yesterday and it said: Congratulations. I am accepted. I am kinda surprised because I heard from them SOoo fast. I submitted my application like a week earlier than the deadline. I am not a new jersey resident though. Don’t worry about it so much, you will be fine.</p>

<p>Me too, hope to hear back soon. Don’t want my FAFSA to be sent in for vain, as Rutgers is the only place I applied to.</p>
