I got a 2.85 gpa this freshman year. Can i still get in to a top college such as Johns Hopkins, Maryland, or even an IV league if i do better for the next 3 years??

ivy league* :) upward trend looks good... some dont look at freshman.... ehh... just do waaay better... try not to get addicted to this site this early... it'll mess with your head

pkgill, just enjoy H.S. and kick butt for the next three years...H.S. only happens once, and it can fly by, so enjoy it and stay focused...If you're really serious about the Ivy League and public H.S. isn't working for ya, then have your folks consider sending you to a private prep day H.S., a nice boarding school, or even a state Math & Science H.S...That should help ya...Peace!

never ever ever give up.make sure you do very well in the next grades. especially junior year.it is the most important & crucial year in your hs school career. my scores were in the low 90s in 9th & 10th grade, but i improved drastically junior year. you have so much time. dont quit so early.
