I was accepted for summer at FSU in 2014, but I got a D+ in physics H and Calc ab ap first quarter. The second quarter, I brought both of those grades up and got the highest GPA out of all my 4 years in highschool. Unfortunately, I still had a D+ (a 69.2) in Calc AB AP for the semester grade, but I did bring up the physics to a C for the semester grade. I've never had a D on any report card before, except for maybe an exam grade. I'm afraid that they will take back their offer for admission for summer 2014 because of that D+. I planned on continuing when Fall classes begin. What can I do? How likely is it that they will take back their offer? Should I send out an application for another school, even though I already accepted FSU's offer?
Thank you

I’m wondering this as well. Some say only final grades matter but others say both semester grades make a difference…

FSU only sees what is on your transcripts. So if your school does quarter grades on your transcripts, then yeah, FSU can see your D grades. Aside from that, if your semester grades are a C or above, you should be fine. More than likely, if you’re at a Florida public high school your transcript is only your semester grades.

@Pasbal some of my grades are barely Bs and I’m expecting to have a few more C’s than expected for the semester. I know I won’t have any Cs on my final grade, will I be rescinded? I got into honors

If you can pull it up by the end of the year you’ll be alright. My school only has the final grade on the transcript, hopefully yours is like that too.
