I took the test in February and got...

ENGLISH 29
MATHEMATICS 29
READING 29
SCIENCE 21 (eww)

I completely forgot about the test until the Thursday before, so I just reviewed a bit for math Friday night and hoped for the best. As you can see, the science section ruined my average score (which is really sad since I want to be a biologist...). It was hard for me to understand the data in the given amount of time (I remember guessing on many of them).

Do you think I could raise my score to at least 31 if I studied more (I'm going to start preparing for the June test as soon as AP exams are over)? How can I improve my science score?

I think you can improve your science score greatly using practice test. Just be sure to time it. The science section is all about reading graphs quickly. I aced that section twice, and I sometimes found it unnecessary to read the passages. That might help you reduce your time.

Yeah for science definitely PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Also do NOT read the passages (except for fighting scientists). Just look at the questions and refer to the graphs. Very rarely did I ever have to refer to the passage section.

I raised my score on the science from a 26 to a 30 but yeah, a 21 is very easy to raise if you practice.

you can definitely bring it up. don’t worry about it.

omg my situation is the same as well
i had a composite of 27…which everyone says is good for my 1st time but i was aiming for a much higher score…at least a 30!
my highest section was english on which i received a 33
and my worst was science in which i got the same score (21)!!! (and i also want to pursue a job in the medical field!!!)
science ****es me off b/c it’s not enough time & it’s the last test!!
by the end of the test i struggle to stay focused!
