I got a 1 on an AP class freshman year. Does this kill my chances?

i got it in Computer Science my freshman year. (now i am a rising sophomore) does this kill my chances of getting into a school like MIT, Brown, or Cornell? other than that flaw, i am a very smart student in all other areas. (i want to see if i can take comp-sci AB next year, and do well in that) what can i do now to make sure i don't screw up my chances of getting into a good school?

Thank You

unless you submit your grade they have no way of knowing your grade on the exam. as long as you got an A in the class and continue to score perfectly on every single exam and have a 4.0 you have about a 10% of getting into HYP good luck

Wow..... You think a bad grade on a test that does not effect anything is going to prevent you from going to a good college. It is okay, don't worry.

^hmm do we have the same comp sci teacher lol?

i didnt get a 1, but pretty bad for top colleges' standards (3 in comp sci A) so im just not gonna report it (or just take comp sci AB to make up for it...which is probalby what im going to end up doing)
