I got a 1400 math + CR, but 470 writing on PSAT...screwed?

<p>hi,</p>

<p>I know that UND doesn't care as much about writing than most of the other colleges, but will that 470 in writing really kill me? I don't know what happened on that day because normally I get 600 on the writing, but even that is pathetic compared to how good everyone else that applies here.</p>

<p>So how much will my pathetic writing score hurt me?</p>

<p>Also, I'm a hindu that is involved with a couple of groups. Would I want to put that on the application when I apply (I am a junior right now), because I'm afraid that becuase I'm not catholic, then they'll reject me. But then again, from what I hear, UND lacks diversity so it might help me. But what do you guys think?</p>

<p>Ok...it's the PSAT so just bring the score up on the SAT and you'll be fine.</p>

<p>As far as being a Hindu, put it on the application! It will not hurt you.</p>

<p>well the psat doesnt even hace an essay... so that 470 isnt legit</p>

<p>im a junior too.... and we have alot of time to prepare and strengthen our scores</p>

<p>the psat is just a wakeup call i think. if it makes u feel any better i got a 1680 on it as a sophomore (410 on CR). when i took the actual sat i got a 2090 with a 670 in CR..much better right? lol. notre dame wont see ur psat scores or atleast they wont consider it.</p>

<p>They def dont see your score... psats mean nothing unless your crazy and Get nmsf..</p>

<p>1400 math + cr is not possible - 140 is. 470 writing on PSAT is not possible either.</p>
