I got a 1970 on the SAT, how can I improve my CR score?

SAT-R: 1970
CR: 580
M: 720
W: 670

I usually get around 700+ for math and writing on practice tests (i probably made dumb mistakes for writing), and critical reading has always been my weak point. What can I do to make that score improve? Does reading a lot really help? Any other suggestions? My CR hasn't gotten better in the past two months from practice tests. I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

why would you want to improve a 1970, to do so is unrealistic!

My point being that is about average, on standardized tests ypu can’t really get above top notch scores, that’s like asking how to hit above a 32 on a Reading ACT. But visit the CB site, & review, pick up the Kaplan & take it for a spin.

Keep hitting CR. It could be your mindset towards the test. 1970 is a good score, but why wouldn’t he want to improve to 2000+
