I got a 70 in calculus

It's my senior year and that's the hardest class I've ever taken. This is also the lowest grade on my transcript. I'm feeling so depressed because this is going on my midyear report and I don't know what to do. It definitely wasn't senioritis. My teacher grades hard and I just haven't been getting it. How badly are my chances now? :(

A 70 isn’t too bad, you have plenty of time to get it up…as long as you’re other classes are doing well…

Don’t worry! One bad grade [which isn’t too bad] isn’t going to make a college turn you down. It’s like having a bunch of bad grades and then one good grade, that isn’t going to make a college accept you. Just try your best, even if your teacher is difficult. I’m sure that 70 is a wake up call and you’ll get better grades this semester. If you get an A, then your final grade will be a B, and that’s good.

Maybe you can try to get some extra help to bring it up by the end of the year.

I’m doing great in everything else. I have four aps total, 3 music classes, and a gym class. Plus I have a huge amount of ecs. I’m just worried about the 70. But I AM working to get my grade up in this class…

And wouldn’t it be too late even if I pull my grades up? I would’ve gotten decisions already D: !
