I got a B in my Art class!

I can't believe in got a lousy B in one of the easiest classes ever, granted it was 8 weeks and we met every friday and saturday, which wasn't cool in the least. I'm kind of worried about it because I'm applying to UCLA.

Do you guys think this will hurt me too badly?

Err…perhaps a little more information about your GPA and major would shed some more light on the matter…

Right, my overall GPA is 3.7 and my major is either Psychology or Political Science; I’m torn between the two.

What art class was it?

My 2 cents: Admissions officers will overlook it when they see that you’ve received A’s in more difficult classes.

Ha I’m taking an art class as its one of the last 3 I need to finish IGETC (no more general ed all pre-req and major classes after this semester!) and it’s more work than I expected. Theres a lot to memorize and I’m taking it way more seriously then I expected as I don’t want a B haha (I won’t have all my Pre-reqs done so I’m hoping by having above a 3.8 will help me out for UCSB :D).

Haha it was Art Appreciation. The class was brutally boring.

haha History of film FTW. I sat and watched movies for 4 hours every Tuesday. Muhwawa!.

Lol sorry. But seriously, I don’t think getting a “B” in an art class will effects you adversly anymore than getting a B in any other course (aka its lowers your GPA).

seriously cry more and pretend people actually give a rat’s ass.

^^^^^^^***

I got a c in a non transferable course! Will that hurt me?

HelloG: No

lilaterila – Was the art class you took an art history course or a studio art course like painting or design. I think that makes a difference. It looks worse if you get a “B” in an art hist. course over a studio art course. I think so at least.

that’s what i thought about music appreciation, i think i’m getting like a C right now, i’m hating that class so much.

it’s hard thats why
