I’m a duel enrollment student and just finished my first year at a comunity college, I will also graduate with both my associates degree and my hs diploma. I took a govt & politics class this year with a super difficult teacher, and ended up getting a C. (Only one person in my class got a B, no As ). I have gotton straight As (with the exception of 2 Bs last semester) and weighted gpa is still above a 4.0. I want to go into journalism or PR and play 3 varsity sports-being a captain for one of the varsity ones(and 2 in JV), tresurer of class and environmental club, yearbook & newspaper at hs, journalism at college, in the honors society PTK at the college and hold the position of PR officer, NHS, and in the honors program at the college(I complete honors projects in classes for honors credits). I have a 29 act-with hopes to raise it above a 30 when I retake-and plently of volunteer hours, and will have a great letter of reccomendation. Do you think I still have a shot at nyu??
lol, sure you can. One C is never going to kill your application. Also keep in mind that transferring into NYU Stern is a lot more difficult than NYU Tandon. Major matters
