MY ADMISSION CONTRACE:
Maintain Academic Performance
Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units as reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Also, if you attended another UC campus in regular session prior to enrollment at UCLA, you must have been in good standing when you left that UC campus. Notify our office immediately of any withdrawals, incomplete grades, drop in academic performance, or other changes to your class schedule.
My admission contract says i need to report any c’s in my major courses so I reported my grades today.
will UCLA rescind my admission ? T_T
No one on here can really know. You’ll just have to wait until they respond, unfortunately. Good luck!
@daaaaaaaan
First, I have never heard of someone getting their admission rescinded because of a “C”. Second, I don’t see where it says you have to report any C’s in your major courses. Not in what you put in your post, anyway. “Drop in academic performance” is very vague. I could easily argue that the way I read that, there is no drop. I was passing when you accepted me and I am still passing, with grades that meet the requirements to graduate with a degree in my major. That is not a drop in performance as I interpret it. They didn’t say “drop in GPA”. I would not have sent them anything if I were you, but even so I doubt they will rescind your admission. In fact, if they were to do such a thing it could be considered a breach of promise on their part. I would certainly engage an attorney to explore it if that happens. But it probably won’t.
