I got a C

I currently have a C+ in my band class, which is ridiculous... not getting an A in a non-academic course..

its most likely that i will end up with a B+ in that class by the end of 1st semester..

i've been a staright a student..this is going to b my first B in high school...

will the B+ hurt towards my GPA?

i know it will definetely count towards my GPA calculated according to my school's standard but i heard something like that the most selective colleges have their own
ways of calculating GPAs..like not taking into consideration points earned in non academic
courses..
is that true?

While schools will definitely see the grade, they really won’t be concerned about it. There is usually more weight placed on the grades earned in academic courses (English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages) than anything else.

colleges will not care, nor should they
