I got a D in one class, should I retake it?

<p>I'm under the University Link Program, and I've been informed that "maybe" UCSD looks at the individual grades you got for every class instead of just looking at your GPA. So, I got a D in English 120, and even though I got a good GPA(believe it or not), I worry that if I have this D, it will affect my transfer. So, should I retake the class? I have enough time and am willing to try my best this time because I did not. </p>

<p>If there isn’t anything limiting you from retaking it, take the class. It demonstrates persistence and increases your GPA</p>

<p>What is English 120? If it’s one of your required English writing courses, you need to have a C or better.</p>
