I got a question

When you submit your CSS Profile for Stanford, applying REA, does your CSS Profile go to the Admissions Office or straight to Stanford's Financial Aid department?

Do the ADCOMMS even get to see your CSS Profile?

bump…

10char.

when my S applied last yr, we didnt have all these worries & questions. he applied, fill up forms, submit all the requirements/docs necessary (common apps, sat/act/sub tests, fafsa, css, etc.) by deadline date, read all the email correspondence sent or confirmation or announcements made by admissions - and wait. now my S is a happy student at stanford. what i meant is if you would be admitted based on your apps, you would be admitted. if you’re qualified for FA, you’re qualified.

sorry, didnt really answer your question. i guess it goes to FA office. but my point is - what does it matter to the applicant really?

also for info, if something is not right with your apps, stanford will let you know. my S got an email informing him that they did not receive one of his teacher’s rec (who refuse to submit online). so we had the teacher re-mailed it again. after few days or a week, got another note that they have not receive it yet, again. we’re given fax # to re-submit it again. & so we did. got the point?

just follow the instructions & meet the deadline, then relax.
