The professor who wrote me a rec is a very very renowned scholor in his field and I rever her also(almost confident that she is one of the best in the world in his field of study). As an associate dean of a department, this professor teaches doctors. Im plannig CAS early decision undergrad this winter.

How much influence will this letter have on me? (By the way, I didnt ask for it, but it was the professor who suggested)

the letter will have more influence if it contains personal insights / observations into your strengths (and possibly weaknesses) and isn’t just full of generalities about what a nice person you are

otherwise it really doesn’t say anything about you that wouldn’t already be present in the application - and that’s the point of the recommendation, to provide a fuller picture of who you are

If it was the professor who suggested, then she must feel very strongly about your strengths, which should come through in your rec. This should have a strong influence as long as you have good stats to support the rec.
