I just got a letter saying i won 22000 for the distinguished scholars award! i applied for the dean honor scholarship too. is it possible to get that one now or not? anyone else get anything?

Yes, but if you get Deans, you will not get the DSA. Good luck.

Hey,congrats!Just wondering here...I got only $18000 and you got $22000?By the way,I am class of 2008.The award amount of DSA rises by $4000 in only one year? Can't believe it...

For the class of 2006 it was $16,000 tuition and $2,000 for housing.

Yes, looks like a big boost this year on DSA. Watch out for a tuition increase!

It's unfair though.I think they should raise the amount of DSA awarded to class of 2008,2007,2006 and 2005.Equality plz!

I think they should "lock" the tuition price - keep the tuition the same amount every year as the year each person begins.

sorry about the whole $4000 difference. seems kinda unfair if the tuition rises as well. the $22000 is still only about half of the $41000 tuition, but its $20000 more than i had a month ago.

I got the 22k also, but that still leaves about 20,000 left to pay. If I don't get the Deans, there's no way I can go there. So it feels great to get it, but it doesn't really help me out that much.

Sivan, you need to apply for financial aid. If your family's expected contribution falls in the right range, you could end up getting need based aid with your merit.
