ahhh the letter came in the mail today

congratulations!

First one on the boards, grats!

If you don't mind me asking, when was everything completed for you--you entire CALS application and such?

did you check to see if you had an on-line decision also, because I remember someone else on the board said that they received an acceptance in the mail, but that there was nothing on the website.

Thanks everyone.
New Yorker, I completed my application mid-november probably, but my mid year report got sent in a little late because my school has late january exams.

Dunces- Yeah, the decision came available on-line today, the same day as the letter came.

Just to let you know, it came in a thin white envelope with just my name and the Cornell Admissions return address. Inside was a letter telling me that the "thick" envelope would come in early april with more information about Cornell days, housing, dining, and all that good stuff.

patttttt, does your last name start with an "A" by chance? I was wondering if they are sending out decisions alphabetically. Basically, I can't stand waiting any longer (at least until Spring Break gets here on Friday and I'm off to other places). ;)

congratulations!

wat does AEM stand for?

It seems to me that we'll get our decisions later...possibly 30th or Early April. November is extremely early in the game, keep in mind, considering the majority of applications are submitted in January and Late December.

AEM = Applied Economics and Management

No, I'm not an A. My last names right in the middle so I'm not thinking its alphabetical, but it could definitely be in the order they received apps.

hm.. but i thought the office start reviewing apps in feburary, so it shouldn't matter much as long as you complete your app before that, right? or am i wrong?

Yeah, I'm not really sure. Today I got the actual letter that said I was accepted into aem. I just figured I had been yesterday because the letter said I was accepted to cals and aem is the major i applied to. But, apparently they send a different letter about your major.

When did you send your application in?
