Chorus My junior year I auditioned and joined the Mixed (honors) Choir. I sang Alto II. 11
Stage Crew I am fully trained on lighting, sound, and being a stage manager. I have been doing all of the above for four years and frequently stage manage productions. However, lighting systems are my favorite. 9 10 11 12
Camp Kern Counselor My junior year the faculty of Anderson High School and the local elementary schools chose me to be a camp counselor for 5th grade students at Camp Kern with Ayer Elementary and Summit Elementary students. 11 12
Say No Counselor I led Just Say NO (to drugs, alcohol and tobacco) meetings at Ayer Elementary once a month for the interested 4th grade students. 11
Peer Counselor I also mentored 5th grade students on making good choices once a week for twelve weeks. This involved Ayer and Maddux students. 11
Powder-puff Football As a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, each year our school holds a game of girls-only football, juniors versus seniors. I was a linebacker both years. 11 12
Bowling Team I have been apart of the bowling team since my sophomore year. Sophomore year I was the captain of the JV team (but still bowling Varsity at many matches). Junior year I made Varsity and am the Varsity captain for my senior year. 10 11 12
Track and Field On the track team I am a field-event person. I throw discus and shot-put, and have attempted long jump (earning third place at a meet my first time jumping) and pole vault. Sadly, my junior year I was out with a back injury. 9 10 11 12
National Spanish Honor Society Because I was able to begin high school Spanish in middle school, I was inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society as only a sophomore. 10 11 12
National Honor Society In 8th grade I was in the National Junior Honor Society. As a junior I applied for the National Honor Society and was inducted as a junior. I was chosen by Mrs. Herron to be an officer (Sergeant-at-Arms) for the 2008-’09 school year. Our NHS does many service projected throughout the school year. 11 12
Anderson Applauds Anderson Applauds is the program that chooses the “Student of the Month.” Anderson High School’s faculty chose me (out of all the students at Anderson) as student of the month September 2007. 11
Anderson Achievers The Anderson Achievers program is a card you apply for every quarter. There are multiple levels available based on GPA. They earn you certain privileges. The last 5 quarters I have earned the highest card level available. 9 10 11 12

Homeroom Leader A select number of high school seniors are chosen to be Homeroom Leaders in freshman homerooms. <p>Work Experience
Titus Auditorium Tech Crew Program all lighting and sound for any performances, meetings, or ceremonies that come to Titus Auditorium. I have been a paid member of the team since August 2005 and will continue to work with the Tech Crew until the summer after I graduate, June 2009.</p>

Coney Island “We’ve got the Scream Machine, the Pipeline Plunge, so many ways for you to have fun!” Coney Island has certainly been my favorite job I’ve held. I have worked in the rides department for two summers so far, and will be in security the summer ’09. I am one of the top operators and have been told I was on the way to becoming a manager if I stayed in rides.
