I got accepted too these so far. Which are the best??

CAl Poly Pomona
San Diego STate
UC Riverside
University of San Francisco
CSU Long Beach
CSU Northridge
San francisco State

UC Riverside overall, but then again, it all depends what you plan on majoring in.

Im planning to major in Business.

Riverside. Definitely.

None really jumps out as head and shoulders above the others. You need to start thinking about what YOU want. What part of the state do you want to live in? Away at school or live at home? Urban or suburban campus? Also you ought to visit the various schools and take the tour, talk to students, try to get a feel for what current students think of the school.

BTW Riverside is a UC campus and (as far as I know) UC schools don't have a business major, closest you can get is biz-econ.

-UCB and UCR are the only two w/ bus degrees.

-Double: SDSU and USF are definitely known for business. I hear a lot of business people in the bay area have degrees from USF. If you get a good scholarship, I'd consider that. SDSU is becoming more selective every year, and seem to be among the elite CSU's now. They are also very well-known for business. UCR has the ability to grow in the UC system, and may be the most "prestigious" of your choices.

I would say riverside or san francisco

I agree with bobbobbob (thats a fun name to type). Riverside and San Francisco have more of a reputation even where I live (NY)

Giants do you have any websites that say SDSU is a good business school. I keep telling my dad that they are, but I dont have any websites or information to prove it.

http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~cba/about/images/Fact_Sheet.pdf

Check out the recognition portion.

which are considered some of the better CSU's? it seems CA Poly is the best, followed by SDSU? how about the next 3 or 4 CSU's? Chico/Long Beach/Pomona?

Thanks. Giant

I think for business you should stick with UCR and San Diego State. The other ones aren't as good in business as these two are.

It's a thing of where would you rather be San Diego, or Riverside(which might be boring if you want to have fun during the nights, since LA is an hour away)

Are SDSU and Riverside almost equals in business? And i heard that USF was also very good for business.

K I'll help you out. CSU LONG BEACH is rated higher than UC RIVERSIDE in business, as does CSU FULLERTON... many people underestimate the power of those 2 CAL STATES... and both those cal states are also ranked higher than POMONA.. but SAN LUIS OBISPO is regarded as one of the BEST for engineering, (my friend got a 1470/1600, 4.3 gpa, accepted to UCSD, UCLA) chose to go to san luis obispo FOR ENGINEERING.

i'll help you out with factual information.
SDSU and UCR are tied in undergrad business ranking #77 (UCR ranked higher overall) Every other CSU is lower. (CSULB #117 (or something like that) Cal Poly SLO > a lot of UC's in terms of engineering, and that's about it.

DoubleorNothing:

I would say either UCR or SDSU are the best choices for undergrad business.

cal poly> than every UC in architecture
and > most in engineering and buisness.

out of the ones you listed, either UCR or USF.

pple seem to look over the fact that about half the reporting graduating seniors from cal poly SLO are recruited by big 4 accounting firms.

So from what I gathered, it seems that everybody thinks that UCR is the best. since almost every post has it listed. So Which is second best besides UCR, SDSU or USF
