lol. it's such an awesome feeling to be accepted.

Congratulations!

Same here!

Congratulations! You've been admitted to Indiana University. You should receive your admit packet in two to four weeks.

same here!
but mine didn't say anything about an admit packet....

When did you guys apply??? I sent mine like few days ago lol

I got accepted today too, and they said that I would receive an admissions packet in 2-4 weeks.

I applied on Sept. 20th

Good stuff SoCal, mad props to you guys. I applied around October 10th.

It says this exactly "Congratulations! You've been admitted to Indiana University. You should receive your admit packet in two to four weeks."

Best feeling ever!

Does that mean we can create our email accounts now?

Congratulations to all of you!!!!

Son got the same message when he checked his status online, and he applied September 30th, so anyone applying in October shouldn't be too far behind.

Slugger, yes, you can create your IU email account now.

Also, packets will probably be here in two weeks, rather than four.

Question.. When will we find out about scholarship information? In that packet or a separate one?

is it weird that my message said nothing about an admit package?

Dancebabe, the admission package will include any scholarship money being awarded in the cover letter. It will NOT say anything about being a direct admit to Kelley, for those who are hoping to be a direct admit. That information will follow about a month after you get your admission letter.

Bregs, can you cut and paste exactly what the message is that you received?

Congrats! So your essay worked indeed. :)

I'm confused. There are no essays for IU. Or was someone asked to write one?

lol no catsushi, the essay was not for IUB. lol

Oops, my bad. :P But good job anyway!

AimHigh, this is eactly what the message says when i checked my status: Congratulations! You've been admitted to Indiana University.

there's nothing about an admit package....should i be worried? i'm also applying as a transfer student...could that make a difference?

Bregs, it may very well be that the message for incoming freshman is different than the message for those who are transferring.

Don't worry about it. The important message is the one you got - you've been admitted! They wouldn't say you were admitted if you weren't, so relax - you're in!! ;-)
