So i just got an email saying that i got admitted to Cal state Long beach :) But i reread my application one more time and i found a crucial mistake. I'm a permanent citizen but in the application, i put myself as "US citizen." My counselor said that permanent citizen was not US citizen and long beach could not accept me. I'm really worry now. I wonder if i talk to long beach counselor, would they fix my error?

I dont think your citizen status matter in the application reviewing procress.

I hope so too. My counselor warned me that they could kick me out if there was an error in my application.
My friend also did something wrong in his application. He was admitted to Long beach too but his SSN is wrong on the application. Do you think he can still fix it?

I don’t think it’s matter at all, even in your case or your friend’s case. The reason you are accepted supposed to be because ur SAT, GPA, and other factors, not your SSN or citizen status.

I think your counselor is over-excited. Contact the school, I believe there would be no problem.

I don’t think for Cal States or UCs it makes a difference (acceptance-wise) whether you are a citizen or green card resident. It might have made a difference if you were an int’l, if CSULB has some limits on the number of int’l students it accepts (I have no idea if it does.). But, I don’t think it makes a distinction between citizens and legal residents.

I don’t think you’ll be kicked out. that would be extreme for a rather non-consequential mistake.

Thank you so much for answering my question I will try to contact the Long Beach office again. They always let me wait for 15 minutes and no one never answers my phone.
