I got an 18 on the Math Section, how do I fix that?

Unfortunately, I don’t remember my subscores. I have taken Alegbra II and have learned logs, cosines etc. I think my main problem is content.

Reading isnt the same as Math nhsharvard. Reading takes almost no outside knowledge. The answers are in the text. I duno man from what it sounds like u should know all the content for the ACT math. What types of problems stump u?

The trig and geometry ones.

ok geometry is tough i admit. When i see a complex big graph with angles, i struggle too. Are u having trouble finding areas, or are u having trouble figuring out angle measures?

As for trig, that is simple. They test simple easy trig. Do you know SOHCAHTOA? If you do you should be set. However, on some test (oct act or sat, i forgot) i used the law of Sines. So knowing those will help too

I believe that you have to know how to graph sin, cos, tan(you can use a calculator for this, but there might be some easier trig graphs that might waste your time by using a calculator).

Also, make sure you know your formulas(geometry, etc.).

Know some of the identities for trig.

I know math isn’t the same as reading, but I wasn’t sure if you got an 18 on math because of panic.

Also learn about the unit circle.

Actually, I’m stronger in math than reading and english, so I have the opposite problem. I almost got a 30 in math, but my english scores have been around the 20s.

Good Luck.
