<p>I think Jeff 2's application may have been especially appreciated because (as his profile shows) he is from New Mexico and he is Puerto Rican. I think Fordham appreciates students from western states and appreciates students from under represented ethnicities. If he had chosen Fordham, I'm sure he would have been a great person to have there. (I see from another post that he is headed to U of Miami.)</p>
