I was deferred ED and I am wondering what my chances are for RD. If you have any tips for me to improve my chances, let me know. Thanks

Your stats look pretty darn good to me--not sure why you were deferred. Did you have good recommendations? I would send a letter saying how you still very much want to attend Duke, provide any updated stats if applicable, etc. Good luck!

My friend, who was deferred from Columbia, wrote a passionate letter to the school about how much he wanted to attend there. He got in RD and is now a Lion. I hope you become a Blue Devil (that is assuming you pick Duke if you get in, :)!) Good luck.

my recommendations were pretty good and I thought my essays are really good. Does anyone have an idea why they deferred me? and yes i will probably send them a letter about how much I want to go there..

just wondering, when should we send this letter?

top colleges are all pretty random in terms of admit, especially ED. You should start looking into other schools.

yeah does anyone know when to send this letter saying that you really want to go there? is there are a specific time for that?
