I got deferred Fall 2017 as a Florida AA applicant
It specifically says: An admission decision is being deferred pending receipt of your college transcript showing your current, in progress semester grades.

My final grades will be in tomorrow and will be able to send them by Wednesday of next week according to the office of registar at my school.

I ended up with straight A’s in six courses this semester, including financial accounting and stats with some other tough courses. I know about the “conditionally admitted” status but this is different right? Do they just need to see that I did well this semester to admit me? I’m confused because wouldn’t they just conditionally admit me if that were the case?

I don’t think that you are guaranteed anything, at least not yet.

However, the fact that they asked for this information, and what you will have to send them will be excellent, is at least hopeful.
