I got Deffered today... what do you think my chances of getting in now are?

710- math 1C
680-Us History</p>

<p>Slightly above average Ec's</p>

<p>Out of State, White Male Applicant</p>

<p>Teacher Recs are really good
Counselor Rec- pretty good</p>

<p>Im in a selective business administration program with only 30 students out of a district close to 6,000 students.</p>

<p>Essay was pretty good too.... i got the defferal today, i know my 590 verbal is pretty low but my english class grades are all solid (mostly A's with a few B's) and my 12 on the essay shows im not as weak in vocabulary as my score suggests.</p>

<p>Only 2 AP Courses but Honors Courses throughout Highschool</p>

<p>A lot of people go to Umich from my school and my guidance counselor is the head of guidance at my school and only has about 15 students. I figure a call by him could be pretty helpful too.</p>

<p>any thoughts on my chances? </p>

<p>oh wow u got deferred! ppl were telling me id get rejected w/ a 3.4 (3 aps, 4 honors in soph though juino year) and a 2140 one sitting -_-x w/ a micrsooft internship. What ive been told is if ur deferred make sure ur first semsetrer grades are really high ! :D</p>
