I got FA but I was rejected...

<p>I got Financial Aid from Cal Grant for UCLA but I was rejected. Is there a mistake? Or, does Cal Grant not base the award on acceptance?</p>

<p>The cal grant just lists your top 3 choices i think. 2 uc’s were on my top 3 list, ucla and cal, both of which i got rejected to. I’m just gonna assume that the aid amount is the same for UCSD and UCSB which i got accepted to.</p>

<p>I dont remember haha… actually i guess its not a top 3 it just randomly turned out to be my top 3 listed on there. But I think they said if the school you want to go to isnt on the fafsa sheet you can change it online.</p>

<p>The 3 schools on your CalGrant are just the first 3 schools you listed on your FAFSA I believe. To change schools, just go to webgrants4students.org, make an account and change em.</p>
