Well I am a freshman for Fall '05, but since we will both be new to the campus, let me extend my Congrats!

Congratulations! I guess one thing I'd tell you is that I talked to a person while I was at Bulldog Days who transfered Junior year, and he said that it was the best decision he ever maid and that he absolutely loved it.

Congratulations, Northrams! I transferred to Yale as a junior a zillion years ago, and it was amazing--academically, socially; even the buildings were glorious. My daughter's a student there now, so I know that it's still as wonderful as I remember. :)

Have all the transfers (or perhaps just the acceptees) been notified? I have a friend who applied for transfer.

where did you transfer from? I know ill probably get into Penn but im ont sure about Yale; so ill probably transfer from Penn.

hey everyone thanks for the congrats and thanks newt and ivyqueen for the advice!

barski, i think most if not all were sent out end of last week, with most in the northeast receiving them yesterday, though they say they continue to send out decisions till june, so im not sure.

skullandbones, i transferred from my local community colleges honors program, so i guess it just proves that where u go before u transfer doesnt matter as much as what u do when ur there.

thanks a lot. It really reassures me.

Congrats man!

Hey congratulations on your Yale transfer!

Are the transfer admissions decisions made on a rolling basis. Does it help to send your applications in much before the final deadline?

Also, about what time last year did the application become available? It's still not out yet for us.

Thanks for your help!
